I’ve been praying for all those affected by Irma, and Harvey too. The devastation is so horrific it is hard to even comprehend.
We are getting some leftover rain in Kentucky from Irma, so it finally feels like fall weather is here with cooler temperatures. So today I’m finally wearing one of the fall outfits I’ve been planning. I’m still finalizing my fall capsule, but plan to have it ready to share next week, so today is just a little preview.
With a capsule wardrobe, my goal is to shop my closet whenever possible. I have had the jeans and red top in today’s outfit for several years. The jeans are still available, but the top is not so I’ve included a similar one in the plan photo. I purchased the chambray shirt for my summer capsule and am loving its versatility this fall. The booties and scarf are new to my closet (subbed booties for the flats shown in the picture because of the rain).
Here are the items in the post:
- Chambray Shirt (version of the shirt in the feature photo – since mine wasn’t available in all sizes)
- Black Skinny Jeans (this year’s version of mine)
- Red Shirt (similar)
- Booties (super comfy and even though a soft material seem to hold up in rain well)
- Leopard Scarf
