The seasons have changes in Kentucky, and with the cooler weather I’ve rotated my closet to my fall and winter clothes. Today I am excited to share a Fall & Winter Capsule Wardrobe. In a capsule wardrobe, items work well together so that a small number of items can create a large number of outfits.
This season, my capsule is just 15 items of clothing. Add in shoes and accessories for a total of 19 items. From theses items, I built over 80 different outfits.
Just like over the summer, I’ve decided this season to provide a free download of my full Fall & Winter Capsule Wardrobe guide if you sign up for my email list. I hope the guide helps you simplify your closet and experience all the benefits of a capsule wardrobe.
After using a capsule wardrobe for over a year now, I can’t ever see going back. Dressing each day is quick and easy – just pick an outfit from the list of 80 and go! I’ve also found that keeping up with the laundry, packing for travel, and the a decrease overall cost of clothing for my family have all been side benefits of making the change to a capsule. I love to walk into my closet now! And, I continually hear compliments on my clothing.
I’ve included some sample outfits below to give you a taste of what is in my Fall & Winter Capsule.
Moto Jacket \\ Thankful T-Shirt \\ Skinny Jeans \\ TOMS Shoes \\ Tory Burch Tote
Denim Jacket \\ Striped T-Shirt \\ Camo Pants \\ TOMS Shoes \\ Tory Burch Tote
If these outfits appeal to you, subscribe to my email list and download the Full Fall and Winter Capsule today!
On a personal note, my family and I had a great summer. The boys have been back to school since August, and have already had Fall Break. We managed to squeeze in a trip to Orange Beach in between the hurricanes that hit that areas. My heart goes out to all those affected by the storms this fall.
The future of my blog is a bit uncertain at the moment. I really enjoy developing the capsule wardrobe ideas, so I’m leaning towards at least continuing to create and post them 3-4 times per year. I may post occasionally with mini-capsules too. Let me know if these are valuable to you – I’d love to hear from you!
