Today I am excited to share my Summer Capsule Wardrobe. I’ve been using a capsule wardrobe approach for almost a year now. Essentially, I find a small number of items of clothing I love which combine well together to make a large number of outfits.
This summer, my capsule is smaller than in the past, just 14 items of clothing. Add in shoes and accessories for a total of 20 items. I didn’t necessarily intend to have quite so few items this summer, but as I planned my wardrobe, I found this was all I felt I really needed. From the 14 items of clothing, I built 80 different outfits.
I’ve decided this season to provide a free download of my full Summer Capsule Wardrobe guide if you sign up for my email list. I hope the guide helps you simplify your closet and experience all the benefits of a capsule wardrobe.
For me, I’ve found that it so much easier to get dressed each morning. Packing for travel is easier. Just walking into my closet is a joyful experience! I used to feel overwhelmed, and frustrated. I had a closet full of clothes, but nothing to wear. Now I have just a few items in my closet, but so many easy ways to dress well every single day.
I’ve included some sample outfits below to give you a taste of what is in my Summer Capsule.
Green Shorts \\ White T-shirt \\ Coach Sandals \\ Crossbody Bag \\ Necklace
Green Shorts \\ Peplum Tank \\ Coach Sandals \\ Crossbody Bag \\ Necklace
Chino Shorts \\ White T-shirt \\ Coral Cardigan \\ Necklace \\ Wedge Sandals \\ Tote
If these outfits appeal to you, subscribe to my email list and download the Full Summer Capsule today!
On a personal note, I am taking a break from the blog for a little while so I can focus my free time on time with my family this summer. See you all when school starts!
